The project proposes the design and development of a RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT in this Mauritanian city, based on its necessary RELATION with the city and its structuring elements. Thus, for the construction of a a NEW URBAN MODEL opportunities are presented. The implantation of the New University, the transfer of the airport generating a NEW FINANCIAL DISTRICT, the transformation of the coastline with high landscape value, as well as the generation and concentration of PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITIES constitute the KEY IDEAS in which the project is articulated.
