General Urban Development Plan of Casares (Málaga)

The preparation of this FUTURE PROJECT has been developed within the framework of three basis :

  • The necessary and essential FLEXIBILITY and ADAPTABILITY of the determinations of the New General Plan to make them compatible with CHANGEABLE DEMANDS AND NEEDS.
  • TRANSPARENCY AND CITIZEN PARTICIPATION throughout the process of preparing the New General Plan.
  • The assessment of the ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA, in accordance with the current criteria of the company.

In particular, the following are basic principles and criteria of the proposed management: the promotion of a SUSTAINABLE and cohesive DEVELOPMENT of the city and its territory in social, cultural, economic and environmental terms, the link between land uses and the RATIONAL USE and sustainable NATURAL RESOURCES, PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL, cultural and artistic HERITAGE of the municipality.
