The State Government proposes a territorial planning based on an ARTICULATED NETWORK of remarkably dense cities and towns, rich in DIVERSE FUNCTIONS and civic coexistence. The key features of the stablished model are the possibility of COEXISTENCE of hierarchical and non-hierarchical structures, exceeding the satellite cities model, the COOPERATIVE-COMPETITIVE relationship among cities to achieve agreements on complementarity with regards to INFRASTRUCTURE PROVISION, EQUIPMENT, KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER, as well as, the advantages related to the organization of the urban structure and the interaction between cities, creating NETWORKED ECONOMIES.
