Winning Proposal of the International Ciudad de Levante Masterplan Ideas Contest. Cordoba

The purpose of the contest was to select those proposals that, due to their FUNCTIONAL, MORPHOLOGICAL AND TYPOLOGICAL ADAPTATION, as well as their convenience and opportunity, without neglecting aspects such as their ENVIRONMENTAL INTEGRATION and their technical and economic VIABILITY, were considered more suitable by the members of the jury to design the management of a large area of land integrated by the new residential and non-residential, established by the 2001 PGOU east of the core of Córdoba and, therefore, establish the basis for the drafting of the various figures of planning. The proposal DOES NOT CIRCUMCRIBE TO THE PROPOSED SCOPE, extends the horizon of the planned program after a slow reading of the TERRITORIAL SUPPORT, prioritizing the CONNECTION with the existing city, modifying the planned infrastructural system, moving away from the consideration of the sector as an autistic soil bag in the that the classic widening model is implemented and bringing the arrangement closer to the conformation of a more flexible and adaptive CLUSTERS system that allows incorporating the new design into the LOGIC of the CONFIGURATION PROCESS of Ciudad-Levante.
